Before establishing SD Group, Directors Shannon Day and Marcos Pescara
had each built more than 15 years of experience across the construction
and civil infrastructure sectors. Throughout their careers, they
successfully established, acquired and merged businesses while
leading every facet of project delivery, from business development and
estimating to engineering, construction and operational management.
This breadth of experience provides SD Group with a unique commercial
and technical advantage. By understanding every stage of the construction
process, the team consistently identifies practical, innovative, and
cost-effective solutions that maximise value without compromising quality,
safety, or performance.
From the very beginning, the vision was clear: to build a construction company
that would set new industry benchmarks, earn the long-term trust of its clients,
and be recognised for the quality of its work, integrity and results rather than

Over the past decade,
SD Group has successfully delivered more than $500 million in construction projects across
New South Wales, spanning the industrial, commercial, civil and infrastructure sectors.
The company has completed more than 30 transport and civil infrastructure improvement
projects for Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW) and numerous local councils, while
continuing to deliver complex developments for both private and public sector clients.
Within the industrial sector, SD Group has established itself as one of the most active
builders in the Norwest Industrial Corridor, delivering more Gross Lettable Area (GLA) over
the past five years than any other builder in the region. This achievement reflects the
