Shannon Darcy founded his first business in 1999 at just 17 years of age, beginning as a sole trader with a commitment to hard work, integrity, and delivering on every promise made to his clients. What started as a one-man operation has evolved into SD Group, a diversified organisation recognised as a trusted leader in civil construction, commercial building, and industrial property development across New South Wales, with projects extending into Queensland and Victoria.

Over more than two decades, Shannon has built extensive hands-on experience across the construction industry, progressing from a licensed concreter, carpenter, and demolition contractor to a licensed builder, developer, and business leader. His practical knowledge, combined with commercial acumen, has enabled him to successfully deliver complex projects while building businesses founded on trust, accountability, and long-term relationships. In 2017, Shannon successfully acquired and integrated an established construction company with over 30 years of industry history and a workforce of more than 20 employees, strengthening SD Group's capabilities and positioning the business for continued growth.

Shannon attributes much of his success not only to determination and strategic thinking, but to his ability to identify exceptional people, foster meaningful partnerships, and build lasting relationships with clients, consultants, investors, and industry leaders. He believes that sustainable success is achieved through collaboration, transparency, and consistently honouring commitments.

Beyond business, Shannon is passionate about contributing to the broader community. As a long-serving voluntary Board Member of the Western Sydney Business Connection for more than five years, he has actively supported small and medium-sized businesses by mentoring business owners, encouraging collaboration, and helping strengthen the Western Sydney business community.

Marcos is a professional civil engineer with more than 20 years of experience delivering complex civil and infrastructure projects across three countries. Throughout his career, he has successfully led the delivery of major infrastructure projects for large organisations, building a strong reputation for technical excellence, strategic leadership, and client-focused outcomes.

After graduating with a degree in Civil Engineering at the age of 25, Marcos developed extensive experience managing large-scale projects across a diverse range of sectors. In 2020, he completed an MBA at UNSW, further strengthening his expertise in business strategy, leadership, and organisational growth.

For the past 10 years, Marcos has been a key member of SD Group, contributing to the company's continued growth and success. He has played an important role in expanding the business, fostering long-term client relationships, and delivering high-quality projects that create lasting value.

His expertise spans project planning, programme management, contract administration, construction delivery, quality assurance, cost control, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Known for his strong communication, organisational, and coordination abilities, Gaurav brings a proactive, innovative, and solutions-focused approach to every project. Highly motivated and committed to professional excellence, he is passionate about delivering outstanding outcomes and driving project success through collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Holding a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours) from the University of Sydney and membership with Engineers Australia, Gaurav combines technical expertise, commercial awareness, and leadership capability to consistently achieve exceptional results.
